Each pod holds 6ml of e-liquid, which is a noticeable step up from earlier Nord pods and translates to less frequent refills during heavy days. Two coil options ship inside these pods: the RPM 2 0.16ohm mesh for high-wattage sub-ohm-adjacent vaping (35-50W range), or the RPM 2 0.6ohm for lower-wattage MTL and restricted lung draws with salt nic. The RPM 2 coil family is generally longer-lasting than the original RPM coils, particularly on menthol and simple fruit flavours. Airflow control is on the device rather than the pod, so both coil variants let you fine-tune your draw independently. Pods connect via magnets — no threading, no o-rings to align — which makes swapping between two flavours during the day fast and mess-free. Only compatible with the SMOK Nord X. Won't fit any other Nord generation. The Nord X has the second-largest wattage output in the Nord range (only Nord 4 and Nord 6 match or exceed it) and a distinctly wider chassis than earlier Nords, so it's easy to identify. Prime new pods before first use: drops of juice through the fill port, coil sat wick-down for five minutes, first hit at 20W to seat the wicking before ramping up.
